Amazonmp3.com has launched and it looks like it has potential. Between that, iTunes plus, and emusic, our drm-free options are expanding. Thank you Amazon!
It takes 43 muscles to frown and 17 to smile, but it doesn’t take any to just sit there with a dumb look on your face.
I just upgraded the T.V. and I now have HDMI inputs at my disposal. Sweet! Until I went to the local electronics store to look at HDMI cables. What is the deal with these “Brick and Mortar” stores charging $70, $100, or more for one 6 foot cable when you can get the same 6 foot cable online (amazon.com for example) for under $15? Does Best Buy really think consumers are that ignorant?
Today, whilst making lunch, I came upon the realization that I like to fold things in thirds. Boxer shorts, t-shirts, bath towels, sliced turkey…
It’s been almost two weeks since I swapped out the Netgear adapter with the Tivo branded wireless adapter on my Series 2 Tivo box. I’m happy to report that in addition to continued excellent signal reception, it hasn’t lost it’s network connection once the whole time.
If you’re considering going wireless with your Tivo, don’t waste your time or money on anything else. That’s my opinion anyway.

This heat which continues still. Especially, because the white-collar worker has done the necktie, the wind being difficult to enter in the body, all the more it is hot, it is, don’t you think?.

Such a time, just a little it is introduction of the cool item. Because the USB necktie cooler, when you connect with USB of the personal computer, the fan of built-in turning, sends the air facing toward the neck origin, it makes cool slightly, it is.

With this, pass also while working to be cool the ちゃ it is comfortably!

Here’s the link so you can buy one and be COOL!
For the past year or so, I’ve had my Series 2 TiVo box connected to my home network using a Netgear wireless adapter (model #WG111). Poor signal strengh and frequent lost connections were typical with this adapter. The other day, I read a bunch of reviews on the TiVo-branded wireless adapter and a majority of them were very positive. So I’m giving it a try.
It was delivered today…
The old Netgear and the shiny new Tivo adapters side by side.

The old Netgear adapter got a signal strength as high as 66% (Marginal), but on average hovered around 30% (Poor). It lost it’s connection on average two or three times per week, requiring a restart of the router, the TiVo box, or both.

When I plugged in the Tivo adapter, I expected to have to go through some set up on the Tivo box, on my router, or both. Instead, it connected immediately. I ran a test connection and it went through all steps without a hitch.
With the TiVo adapter in the same position as the old Netgear, the signal strength has improved significantly and is hovering around the 80% mark. By moving it around to a few different spots, the signal got even stronger.
So far I’m very pleased, but I still must wait to see how well it stays connected on it’s own. I’ll give it a few weeks before making my final decision.
