HDMI Cables

I just upgraded the T.V. and I now have HDMI inputs at my disposal. Sweet! Until I went to the local electronics store to look at HDMI cables. What is the deal with these “Brick and Mortar” stores charging $70, $100, or more for one 6 foot cable when you can get the same 6 foot cable online (amazon.com for example) for under $15? Does Best Buy really think consumers are that ignorant?
